Welcome to “We’re Out of Here,” an offbeat travel blog based in Alexandria, Virginia. We cover budget-friendly destinations in the Washington DC Metro and the Mid-Atlantic regions. We eschew Manhattan for Brooklyn, the Carolina coast for the West Virginia mountains and DC’s five star restaurants for Northern Virginia carry out. We’re Out of Here is run by intrepid travelers Emily Patterson and Greg Ochsenschlager (left).
